The Goddard School Annex in Katy, TX is an after school and summer camp facility for older kids. The interior space is dominated by a large gathering space where the kitchen, four classrooms, and gym are easily accessed. The concept of the building is to provide a fun place for kids to hang out, but also be a place of learning and creativity. The many paintings throughout the school depict the themes of science, technology, engineering, and the arts in a colorful and playful manner appropriate for elementary and middle school kids.
