Goddard School - Lake Houston, TX (2016)

The Goddard School of Lake Houston murals were originally inspired by a list of animals that can be found in the great state of Texas. The owners also envisioned the foyer having two trees growing next to a fish tank that greets you upon entering the grand foyer. With those two threads in mind, a forest theme made the most sense. The foyer is impressive with two 11 foot trees fabricated from a dense styrofoam and a completely painted ceiling. The effect of walking under a cool forest canopy is perfect when coming in from a blazing summer day.
