The Goddard School of Florham Park, NJ murals were inspired by the request to have a blue giraffe. After sharing some images with me of the approximate style and coloring, we were off on a unique project using a limited palette and simplified forms under the basic concept of Environments. By keeping the palette to only a handful of colors, the finished paintings were unified with each other and with the classroom accent wall colors. The effect feels modern and clean without losing a since of playfulness and imagination.
