This extraordinary model railroad belongs to Al Partlow of Houston, TX. His railroad was in need of a Houston skyline circa 1950 for the backdrop of the Union Station section of his layout. With a little research and a trip to the local archive, we were able to locate a number of photographs that helped us recreate the skyline. This painting was done in my studio on a mylar type material that was then adhered to the wall.
