Christ Church Cathedral - Houston, TX  (2007)

Christ Church Cathedral in Houston, TX underwent a major expansion in the mid-2000's. One of the new spaces created was an expanded youth room. The youth director at the time, Eileen, asked if I would design a work for an empty space created by a cathedral ceiling in the gathering space. We worked on a number of designs before deciding on the tree of life motif. The tree is made mostly of recycled cardboard that was collected at the Cathedral's homeless support program, The Beacon.
